Five Types Available from Stock
All aggregates are state-certified and sourced from our own quarry in Germantown, Ohio. Ask about current inventory and delivery at your nearest Ernst location.
#57 Crushed Stone
A versatile coarse aggregate with particles ranging from 3/4 to 1/2 inch. Widely used in ready-mixed concrete for driveways, slabs, footings, and structural pours. Excellent drainage and workability characteristics.
#304 Limestone
A processed limestone used primarily as a base material for road construction and site preparation. Compacts well under load and provides a stable, long-lasting foundation layer for pavement and structures.
Fine Sand
Natural fine sand used in concrete mixes to fill voids between coarser particles and improve surface finish quality. Also used for pipe bedding, utility trench backfill, and decorative finishing applications.
Pea Gravel
Small, smooth, rounded gravel typically 3/8 inch in diameter. Ideal for exposed aggregate concrete finishes, subsurface drainage, and decorative applications where a clean, polished appearance is required.

Certified at the Quarry
Ernst Concrete operates its own quarry in Germantown, Ohio, giving us direct control over sourcing, testing, and quality at every step of the supply chain. Rather than relying on third-party suppliers, we produce our aggregates ourselves and certify them to state specifications before they reach your jobsite.
